they contacted me before my arrival about a late dinner reservation. it was a helpful gesture, since i knew i would arrive late that night. i found that i could easily walk to albandeira beach from the hotel. the staff was super polite and always helped with any request i had. the breakfast offered many choices of fruits, bakery, and english-style eggs. the view from the restaurant was fine!!!

the air conditioning in my room was quite noisy. i think that it needs maintenance to work properly.

The grounds are beautiful and well kept. That much is true.

The service was definitely not up to par. I went to the bar one evening around 6:45 pm. The two staff there ignored me. They gave us the menu without any greeting then never came back. After waiting fifteen minutes, we left. The staff looked unmotivated and disinterested.

I found the location advantageous. It allowed easy access to Albandeira Beach, with kayaking to the Benagil caves. The staff accommodated all requests politely. It. They even checked about late dinner reservations, because we were arriving late.

I observed some minor wear and tear in certain areas. The maintenance needed attention and investment.

the beach was amazing. it was right on the hiking path. i found the atmosphere very relaxing (exactly what i needed). the infinity pool overlooks a gorgeous beach.

i found the accommodations just ok. i felt they were clean and they gave me plenty of towels. however, the bed was not very comfortable.
